Runga Trans sponsored Bless-a-Granny & Grandpa visits TAFTA Lodge 14.12.17

Beautiful morning filled with music and love and the gift of Christmas at TAFTA Lodge this morning for over 200 elderly hearts! Joined by some beautiful community hearts, Rene Tshiakanyi who performed live for the elderly residents and once again got everyone singing along, as well as an incredible team of volunteers from Runga Trans cc – who also sponsored all the delicious snacks and entertainment for the visit & some of the awesome ladies from Pentravel that donated over 50 gifts for the visits – the hall at Tafta Lodge was buzzing with excitement the minute we walked in! Thank you to the super team from Tafta for your support in helping the visit to run so smoothly! Hundreds and hundreds of beautiful gifts for each and every Granny & Granny and to top it all off, Eat Greek Caterers also donated fresh fruit and fruit juice as an additional treat for them! Laughter, dancing and sharing some time and love with these special old souls today <3 Thank you to each and every one of you who donated time today and pledged gifts for this visit! And a massive thank you to Nikki Burns who rallied the incredibly generous support of staff, interns and children from HCA and donated over 60 gifts for this visit AGAIN this year! Says, 99 year old Emma, “I so look forward to this all year and just never want to miss it!” means the world to them all!
