What an action-packed and INCREDIBLY fun-filled morning at TAFTA Kings Hall this morning! We always look forward to this visit – feeling alot like Father Christmas as we offload the cars and pass the gifts through the window and then climb through the window 🙂 hysterical way to start a visit! Joined by Rene Tshiakanyi and some of the wonderful dancers from FloorCraft Dance Studio and The Maya Company who also pledged over 50 gifts for this home and a beautiful team of community hearts – the love, laughter and happiness in the Hall was indescribable as the elderly hearts were treated to a morning of music, dance, treats, gifts and most importantly- love and time – every single one of over 200 of them being made to feel so very blessed and special! Our most grateful thanks to Powafix for your generous support of ANOTHER one of our visits and sponsoring all the delicious tea time treats and entertainment for these elderly folk. .Thank you to the Tafta team – Rowena, Sarah and ladies for all your help and warm welcome for all our guests! As we were leaving and nearly EVERY resident came to give our volunteers a hug and show their grattitude, one Granny said to our Co-ordinator, “This has just been THE most amazing day, we’ve been looking forward to it all year but had no idea of how much fun today was going to be – the best party we’ve ever had” A big THANK YOU to Maxprop Glenwood for pledging nearly 80 gifts for this visit and to each and every single one of you who gave with such abundance and generousity! It has really made their day, in fact, it has made this year a Christmas to remember! Beautiful day <3 With many full hearts and happy faces!
