Month of Love visit 2: Spread the Love, Spread the Magic – 11 February 2019

Another exciting ‘Month of Love’ project – partnering with Dis-Chem for their 40th birthday. A beautiful Monday hosting quite an epic Carnival for the 1500 children, predominantly from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, at Addington Primary School today! Bringing the ‘love and magic’ to the children, the vibe was absolutely electric with rides, candyfloss, popcorn, hot fresh pizzaAND cake and cupcakes by Debonairs – thanks to Mohammed and Rehana from Ocean Trust celebrating Mohammed birthday too! – and live rocking music by celebrity DJ Lloyd Paul and each child will be getting goodie bag filled with Dis-Chem’s MicroPops and sweeties, juice and other goodies from their 40th birthday promotions which ended yesterday. A PERFECT way to start “Friendship week” that the amazing staff compliment at Addington Primary School encourage this time of year with such well-mannered and well behaved little hearts. We are so grateful to the incredible Dis-Chem team for choosing to partner with us for this fantastic project and to everyone that helped, donated and got involved – thank you for lighting up these children’s lives, said one little 7 year old “this is the BEST day EVER!”
