Mamba Republic Fundraiser – A Huge Success 19 May 2017

What a hilarious show with Mamba Republic, we have not laughed so hard in so long.

We are so grateful to The Caxton Group for partnering with us again this year for an exceptional annual event! Each guest was given a goody bag filled to the brim and a lovely Compass Cares Wildlife calendar. Stunning Mystery prizes and raffle tickets and even a silent auction was in hand.  All funds raised from this event will go towards our upcoming project, the”Buy-a-Brick” campaign, which will be launching very soon – so don’t forget to get involved. Not only did the guests have the most amazing time along with such wonderful feedback, but the total amount raised from the event was R97 123.33. This fantastic amount is a great start towards our ‘Buy-a-Brick’ campaign we will be launching soon in order to provide upliftment for a little crèche we visited on our recent “Love to Read” campaign. Siyanda crèche in Ntshongweni is in desperate need of a structural build, as well as safety and educational elements and proper ablution facilities for the children that attend. We believe that education is the main key to eradicating poverty in our country and if we can start making a difference at this young age, we can help to shape these children’s’ development and functioning throughout their lives.
