Love to Read Visits Isambulo Youth Centre & Thandi’s Creche 24 May 2017

Today, we partnered with some of the amazing team members from Nation Changers at CityHill Hillcrest and visited two of the creches they serve with our Love to Read campaign.

What an incredibly humbling morning! These creches are so bare yet the children are so happy and loved despite the makeshift structures and lack of educational material. How beautiful to see their faces light up when our volunteers had finished packing the bookcases with all the books and toys and puzzles donated and not to mention the HUGE smiles from the children on seeing the month’s supply of porridge generously donated by FutureLife Foundation!
