Love the Babies – St Mary’s Hospital visit

What a beautiful way to spend a sunny Monday, spreading love and community blessings to the newest and tiniest little hearts at St Mary’s Hospital. Essentially a ‘baby shower in a bag’, these Love the Babies hampers, loving packed by trustee & volunteer Pat Horrmann, are a huge blessing (and relief) to the moms we serve on these projects from disadvantaged areas – who more often than not, have nothing for their babies. Much love was shared here today as our amazing volunteer team gifted the moms with their hampers, dressed, swaddled and loved the newborns, and encouraged and shared some time with the new moms. Thanks to each and every person that knits for and donates preloved baby clothes towards our Love the Babies campaign. Nearly 80 newborns and their moms were blessed on today’s visit!
