KZN Slots Sponsored HOPE Project 11 July 2017

Probably the most fun day of the school holidays for 10 orphaned and vulnerable children – as highlighted to us by our community liaisons at Lungisani Indlela – from the Amaoti community today as they were thoroughly blessed with a ‘Christmas in July’ type feel to the day! In January 2017 KZN Slots sponsored these 10 Grade 1 children for their ENTIRE 2017 year of schooling – uniforms, stationery, toiletries, food hampers and so much more! Whilst we’ve been sending their monthly food hampers through the incredible team at Lungisani Indlela, we have not seen the children and how they’ve grown since we met them at the first of our KZN Slots sponsored HOPE projects for them in February where they received their first lot of uniforms, stationery and educational requirements for the year. It was beautiful to see their little faces light up, remembering the team of volunteers from KZN Slots! We started the afternoon with a Pizza Party generously supplied by Panarottis uShaka whose amazing team made the children feel like VIP guests! Then after a fun lunch – and a first time for pizza for most of the children – we headed back over to KZN Slots offices where the celebrations continued in the boardroom and the offices were just lit up with giggling, laughter, hoola-hooping of the children and the KZN Slots team! Their precious little faces when they walked into the boardroom and saw all the goodies they were taking home to start off their 2nd half of their school year fully kitted out!
