Gogo Bag Blessings to Intongela School 27 June 2017
Intongela Primary was highlighted to us some years back by Community hearts Jane and Mandy, ex St Mary’s teachers, who donate their time to help to educate the children. Nearly half of the 300 primary school scholars are OVC children, being looked after by a carer, Gogo or an older sibling. We visited these special little hearts today with a huge and beautiful team from MCS Debt Recovery who brought with them blessings for the children and the staff. So much excitement as the team handed out the party packs to the little ones and our volunteer team handed out all big heavy Gogo bags – massive thanks to Runga Trans once again for donating your huge truck and amazing team – for the families of these children – filled with over a week’s supply of non-perishable foods as well as pre-loved clothing. Thank you, Saskia and your team at MCS, the RHF volunteers AND all the community hearts that helped us pack all these big, heavy bags on Saturday!! What a beautiful day in such a peaceful community and how wonderful to know so many families will be eating well this week.
