Fun Day at Reunion School for children with Cerebral Palsy 11 May 2017

“Sometimes even the greatest joys bring challenge, and children with special needs inspire a very, very special love.” – Sarah Palin

Special love indeed! We spent the morning celebrating the lives of nearly 240 children at The Reunion School for children with Cerebral Palsy with an incredible FUN fun day, music, dancing, candyfloss, popcorn, ice lollies, cake, snacks, rides, face painting and so much more! Each and every child connected with the incredible hearts that joined us today and shared such laughter and love! Their joy, despite their challenges, is just always such a pleasure to see.

We all left with very full hearts after giving them their gift boxes, generously donated by CHEP, and filled with toiletries, towels, facecloth, stationery for school, and other essentials. There were also new walkers, snacks and other items that were on the school’s ‘wish list’ PLUS two brand new benches from Marco and Sarah Araujo for their verandah!

A humble and heartfelt thank you to our sponsors Araujo Attorneys and CHEP and to the staff and team at Reunion and KZN Cerebral Palsy Association for their help in organising to make this day possible and so very special for the children. Sometimes, the biggest difference we can make in the lives of others is not WHAT we give but the love we give along with it.
