CHEP sponsored Love the Babies visit to St Mary’s Hospital – 25th March 2019

Probably the BEST way to spend a Monday, on outreach to the new mums and newborns with an incredible team of volunteers from the community.
With CHEP on board as the sponsor for this project, we saw over 60 new mums and newborns abundantly blessed at our visit today!

Their CHEP Cares team involvement started last week when we delivered all the bags, packed and sorted by the AMAZING Pat Hormman, Volunteer and Trustee, who heads up the is project, to CHEP’s Westville offices and their team sorted, packed and wrapped further donations that were sponsored by CHEP of baby clothes, nappies, waterproofs, blankets etc to add to the bags – making these Love the Babies hampers FULL to the brim with amazing essentials for these new mums and BOY were they just thrilled today when they received their hampers!
Thank you to each and every person that has donated pre-loved baby clothes, blankets and items as well as all the incredible ‘knitters’ in our community that knit continuously towards this campaign and to CHEP for your incredible and generous support, but most importantly the volunteer time that was invested into helping to brighten the lives of these newborns and mums. What a beautifully connective morning with a phenomenal team of ladies sharing love, care and blessings with ladies and littlies that needed it most.
