Bless-a-Granny Valentines Day visit to Richmond 14 February 2017

What a beautiful love-filled way to spend Valentine’s morning, with an amazing team of volunteers who joined us to drive all the way through Minerva Gardens in Richmond to bless the elderly residents with a Valentine’s Day tea. Armed with cakes, treats, snacks and massive gift bags filled to the brim so generously sponsored by Julie and John Parker and Karin Ann De Klerk, our volunteers and all the resident so thoroughly enjoyed the morning, hosted by the home, outdoors under the trees – a morning of nattering, giggling, story sharing and fun! “The best Valentine’s Day ever,” said one of the elderly ladies. “True happiness comes from the effort of making others happy – give and share your love every day.” – Tinku Razoria
